McDermott Caspian Contractors, Inc., branch of worldwide engineering and construction company in oil and gas industry, is interested in recruiting the following category of personnel.

Draftsman
 
Basic Functions

Prepare drawings as instructed by the Construction Support Engineers, Operations Engineers, Field Engineers and E&M / Diving / Estimation.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out design, fabrication and/or installation drawings up to AFC level.
• Prepare drawings within schedule and with due respect to quality.
• Verification of drawings  produced by other Draftsman of the team
• Updates the documents produced after comments issued by other disciplines.
• Maintain drawing register on a project-by-project basis which catalogues all drawings and sketches issued.
• Ensure drafting deliverables are issued per client specification, level 2 procedures and within agreed schedule and budget.
• Performs 3D modeling and 2D drafting tasks assigned by the Construction Support Engineers.
• Issue drawing / sketches only after they have been reviewed and appropriately signed by the authorizing Engineer.
• Assist the squad leader to supervise the preparation of drawings & 3D model.
• Maintain all the mark-ups drawings and filing project-wise.

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Manager or Section Leaders of Construction Support Engineering. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Engineering  or draftsmanship
• 5 + Years Experience in Offshore construction industry
• Thorough knowledge in AutoCAD
• Micro-Station software.
• Knowledge in MS Office package
