Maximise sales performance through the delivery of excellent customer service consistently high visual and retail standard. Accountabilities
• Maximise sales performance through identifying sales opportunities within their area and ensuring a strong implementation in order to maximise results. • Effectively manage the team to deliver consistently high customer service standards. • Lead & develop the team to maximise the business as well as personal potential. • Generating customer loyalty by driving the promotion and cover in addition to local initiatives. • Monitoring competitor activity and external forces, taking action to counteract where necessary • Analysing data reports available, using findings to inform commercial decisions, whilst considering the implications of those decisions • Preventing loss Responsibilities:
• Monitor competitor activity to stay commercial in approach. • Understand company commercial decisions and how this affects their area of responsibility. • Ensure retail standards are maintained to a consistently high level whether in prime or sale trading. • Implement and maintain consistently high visual merchandising standards in conjunction with the Visual Manager. • Ensure optimum stock availability through new stock and regular replenishment. • Scheduling the team to ensure there is adequate cover at all times and in conjunction with promotional activity and key events. • Develop and coach the team in order that they maintain a motivated approach to their responsibilities. • Develop the team and individuals to support the store/business succession. • Maintain morale in order to keep labour turnover to a minimum.
Delivering consistently high customer service standards through: • Effectively managing the team to provide customer service which consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations • Using customer feedback to make improvements within the store • Maximising the availability of product and services to our customers • Visual excellence through out areas of responsibility in conjunction with the Visual Presentation Manager • Ensuring that optimum stock representation is achieved on the sales floor of correctly priced stock, in conjunction with the Visual Presentation and Operations Manager • Scheduling the team to ensure there is adequate cover at all times and in conjunction with promotional activity and key events
Effectively leads and develops the team by: • Coaching team members to maximise their performance potential • Ensuring team understand company strategy and their contribution to it in conjunction with their own objectives
Maintain Health and Safety standards for customers and employees through:
• Awareness of and compliance with Company and statutory Health and Safety legislation • **Ensuring all food service units operate safely and meet the standards set out in the six mandatory Health and Safety risk assessment tests
