Job title: PROJECT PLANNER/SCHEDULER

Purpose of Position:

Preparation of the project phase and exception plans referring to requirements and coordination of the information flow during the project process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plans and prepares production schedules for fabrication, installation, and repair of vessels by using Primavera software;
• Draws up master/discipline schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet client forecasted master schedule;
• Analyzes production specifications and construction data and performs mathematical calculations to determine material, tools, and manpower budget for the schedule;
• Plans and schedules workflow for each project/operation according to previously established client sequences and lead times;
• Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other operations for guidance of workers;
• Confers with Client & Company management to determine status of projects;
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions;
• Prepares project related production reports;
• Prepares monthly report of the overall / overview of the project including its presentation form;
• Updates schedule, collects data for progress measurement analysis, highlights critical path and area of concern for management action.

Education & Work Experience:

• Bachelor or above
• 2+ years of work experience in planning/scheduling, minimum 1 year of work experience in Planner/Scheduler position;
• Good knowledge of Primavera (P6 is an added advantage);

Skill Level Requirements:

• Ability to modulate with a dynamic workload: from heavy multi-tasking during peak workloads - to very focused, detail-oriented work during critical projects;
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills;
• Ability to produce and track a budget and understand financial statements to create and communicate alignment sheets;
• Exceptionally high level of commitment to the success of overall projects;
• The ability to work together with client and other contract representatives as part of a group;
• Ability to accurately communicate ideas, instructions, questions, problems, solutions;
• Ability to communicate and express information in written and oral form in Azerbaijani and English.
