Maintenance Supervisor

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

• Implement and carry out electrical and mechanical T.P.M (Total Preventative Maintenance) planning and execution throughout the facility .
• Disassemble and inspect machines to determine repair requirements
• Completes inspection reports determining scrap, refurbishment or replacement of components
• Use various pneumatic tools, hand tools, acetylene torch, required to disassemble, repair and assemble the machines.
• Carry out preventive maintenance checks as per weekly, monthly and annual schedule.
• Maintain maintenance logbook for each machine.
• Complete machine accuracy check list as per premium license maintenance schedule and document all findings.
• Performance in-house calibration of equipment where required.
• Meet quality and specification standards
• Ability to validate equipment meets the specification for required service
• Uses various precision measurement devises
• Follows safety and environmental rules, company policies and procedures while carrying out duties
• Serves as a knowledge resource for less experiences fitters and trains them as and when required

Education and/or Experience:

Diploma, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with minimum 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Machine shop and machine tool retrofit experience would be an advantage. Understanding of manufacturing processes.

Product Knowledge:

Repair of machine tools/CNC machine repair and trouble shooting

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel), Internet.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform standard electrical and mechanical calculations

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents in English/Russian.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Must be focused, accurate, with excellent attention to details.

EHS Responsibilities

All employees/operatives will:

1. Ensure the implementation of the Company EHS Policy for the prevention of injury, damage or loss to Company personnel and resources.
2. Adhere to the risk assessment controls identified.
3. Not interfere or misuse any equipment supplied.
4. Maintain equipment supplied for carrying out work tasks including daily maintenance where appropriate.
5. Use personal protective equipment supplied in accordance with site risk assessments and site rules.
6. Attend any suitable training to ensure that they are competent to perform their duties safely.
7. Comply with any rules specific to a particular site and any Company wide health, safety or environmental requirements.
8. Report any injuries, unsafe acts or conditions to line managers.
9. Support EHS policy to help deliver cultural development and sustained continual improvement in EHS performance.
