Vacancy: Financial Auditor

Job functions:

• Undertaking internal audits to ensure the company meets its financial, operational and compliance objectives
• Conduct audit testing of specified area and identify reportable issues and dimension of risk
• Reporting on control deficiencies to management and making recommendations to mitigate risk and add value
• Engaging remediation of identified issues through follow-up
• Communicating with a variety of stakeholders across the company

Internal Auditor job qualifications and requirements:

A degree in one of the following fields should be included as a qualification requirement for internal auditing:

• Accountancy
• Economics
• Finance
• Business

Anyone looking to work in this industry will also be expected to display the following qualities:

• Analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work independently
• Details oriented with organizational skills
• Technology and computer skills, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, Powerpoint)
• Organisation and time-keeping skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure, especially when there are tight deadlines
• The ability to think objectively

Salary: 1200-1500 net
