Main Duties

• Immediately greet guest and offer to assist with their needs.
• Serves welcome drinks and escorts the guests to their assigned rooms.
• To be present at the Reception desk or in the lobby to be ready to assist guests, colleagues and visitors when requested.
• Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage and equipment in an efficient and timely manner.
• Escorts guests to room, placing luggage in room assigned by front desk.
• Fully aware of the Room Service and other outlets menu, answers questions on menu selections, communicates with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability.
• Delivers faxes, messages, packages and flowers to guests’ rooms and other offices.
• Respond to guest requests and queries providing a knowledgeable, efficient and helpful information service.
• Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes, if not available in guest rooms.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Hosts and welcome all guests in a gracious and polite manner, and to have the ability to hold a conversation with the guest in a natural and spontaneous manner.
• Wishes fond farewell to the guest at the time of departure.


• Previous hotel-related experience
• Good command of the English, Russian and Azerbaijani language is essential, both written and verbal.
• University degree from a Hospitality related program preferred.
• Handling guest complaints at highest service levels
• Dealing with high profile guests
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Driving Licence B, BC
• Personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Must be able to work shifts - days, evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays
