About UFAZ

UFAZ was initiated by the Presidents of the French Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since September 2016, directed by the University of Strasbourg and by the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, in close partnership with the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan, UFAZ undertakes the delocalization of 4 specialties at bachelor level in the fields of science and engineering. Students are issued a French and an Azerbaijani diploma.

Vacancy: HR Specialist

Applicants must send a CV in English to careers@ufaz, specifying name of the position in the email subject line, not later, than October 11, 2019.

The Applicant should meet the following requirements:

- A degree or qualification in Business Administration, HR Management or any similar discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in the field of HR;
- Knowledge of the local Labor Code of AR;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English, knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package and Outlook;
- Good team player
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
         
 Responsibilities will include:

• Recruitment of administrative and teaching staff (vacancy posting, CV screening, interviews), onboarding of new hires;
• Drafting of labor and service contracts and job descriptions for local administrative and teaching staff;
• Providing support to teachers from France in the arrangement of their visits to Azerbaijan by:
- preparing required documents and applying to the State Migration Service
- guiding them in applying for Azerbaijani visa
- arranging purchase of flight tickets and hotel reservations
• Maintaining employee electronic files;
• Coordinating performance evaluation of teachers through student surveys;
• Maintaining UFAZ intranet;
• Taking up additional tasks assigned by line managers
