- Strong organizational and follow-through skills - Knowledge of MS Office (essential) - Working experience in Front Office/Reservations general (essential) - Knowledge of Opera PMS (desirable) - Experienced and comfortable communication in Azerbaijani, Russian and English - Excellent written communication techniques; experienced in writing business emails - Excellent guest interaction and general verbal communications skills - Able to work in shifts; flexible and willing to work extended hours when required - Pleasant personality; friendly and smiling
Job Duties:
To conduct duties in the Reservations and provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with Hyatt Standards in order to maximize guest satisfaction. - Provides excellent service to internal customers as appropriate. - Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships. - To handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily. - Ensures that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate. - To oversee the taking and processing of all rooms reservations according to hotel and company guidelines. - To take and confirm requests for room reservations or cancellations, giving general information about the hotel, through correct room category sale, using upselling techniques. - To answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally and channel to appropriate for assistance. - To have full knowledge of room rates and room availability of the hotel. - To provide information and literature of facility in person and via telephone. - To have full knowledge of using office equipment as well as all operation systems s.a. RESERV, Opera, Microsoft Outlook. - To confirm reservations to any Hyatt Hotel around the world through RESERV. - To assist with the processing of individual and group reservations, rooming lists, waitlists and other reservations. - To build strong relationships with all sources of bookings and work closely with Sales & Marketing Department in maintaining and developing these relationships.
