We are looking for bright, intelligent graduates with linguistic skills, and some work experience, who want to build a career using their languages, research skills, administration skills and organizational abilities in an educational context.


A credential evaluation specialist is an individual who is involved in the assessment and recognition of international educational credentials and understands foreign education.


- University degree in Law, International Relations or Educational Management;
- Two years of general work experience, preferably in a higher education environment;
- Knowledge of international education and/or foreign systems of education desirable;
- Fluency in Azerbaijan, English, Russian languages;
- Skilled in developing and implementing a communications and dissemination plan;
- Computer, internet and database literate;
- Ability to identify limitations of one’s evaluation expertise and devise methods for acquiring additional evaluation knowledge when necessary;
- Ability to develop action plans and systems to facilitate and track implementation of evaluation findings and recommendations;
- Willingness to learn, research and process amounts of applications;
- Ability to work independently toward established goals and deadlines;
- Have a proven ability to excel in a high-volume production, document and process-driven environment.


- Verify academic information entered by the applicant and ensure that the information matches what is reflected in the corresponding documents;
- Adhere to the policies and procedures to produce accurate evaluation reports;
- Validate the accreditation status of transfer colleges and universities;
- Contact to universities, authorities and recognition offices on issues related to recognition and foreign education;
- Research and investigate qualifications worldwide, national education systems and new developments;
- Study information about educational systems in other countries and recognition systems;
- Build a network of international contacts to help develop specialist knowledge of education systems;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
