Accounting Specialist

Role synopsis

Azerinteltek CJSC is now looking for an experienced professional for the role of the Accounting Specialist to support major financial accounting areas.

Key accountabilities

 Ensure the inclusion of expenditure invoices into accounting documents in accordance with company procedures,
 Prepare records for estimates of revenues related to the accounting and collection,
 Ensure the inclusion of accounting records for the company`s assets,
 Prepare the documents on calculations of depreciation,
 Prepare the lists for the suppliers` payment and employees` salary payments,
 Conduct accounting operations and the activities related to the movement of capital,
 Distinguish the total general expenditures,
 Conduct all operations in accordance with the company's insurance policies;
 Reconcile and check the accounts of suppliers, employees and dealers,
 Ensure the development of accounting systems (SAP and on the published forms);
 Prepare the accounting reports on SAP system,
 Conduct the accounting records regarding the cash and bank transfers,
 Reconcile and check the bank accounts with bank statements,
 Check cash account via cash checks,
 Record and verify employee expenses,
 Monitor the financial position of the dealers on system such as, BOS program,
 Carry out comparative inspections and submit invoices to dealers,
 Receive daily bank statements, to execute bonus payments and relevant processes,
 Resolve finance related problems of dealers and players,
 Solve the problems between the company and bank arising from the payment of collections,

Essential criteria

 A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field of study (Business Administration, Economics or Finance)
 Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
 Strong Excel skills
 Working knowledge of SAP® (FI module)
 Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani languages: both verbal and written

Desirable criteria

• Advanced user in MS Office suite
• Experience in one of “Big Four” companies (PWC, E&Y, KPMG, Deloitte)
• ACCA qualification exams (at least F3 Financial Accounting)
• Exhibits good communication skills and can work effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
• Strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills
• Experience and knowledge of inventory process
