Job title: HSSE Adviser (Environment)

Our Client requires HSSE Adviser (Environment) for long term Major Projects in Azerbaijan.

The HSSE Adviser (Env) will also perform general HSE duties on site in line with COP-WC project HSSE plans and procedures under the instruction of Client’s HSSE Adviser.

The HSSE Adviser (Env) is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of Environmental program ensuring compliance with the project’s HSSE plan in the field by line supervisions.

Prime responsibilities and duties:
• Implement environmental management system
• Implement Environmental Activity plans
• Conduct TBTs on environmental issues to increase general awareness of employees
• Completion and analysis of environmental data (VOCs and etc).
• Completion and submission of monthly environmental statistics encompassing all domains (consumption of energy, materials, emissions and etc).
• Daily liaison with supervision in order to maintain site environmentally friendly.
• Daily walkthroughs to reveal the weak points of working areas.
• Constant liaison with waste collecting subcontractor.
• Regular contact with client representatives on site and in the main office with regards to solutions to different environmental issues.
• Weekly attendance to HSSE/Environmental meetings within the company and with client if required.
• Completion of waste register and waste transfer notes.
• Support and management to clean spills.
• Maintaining MSDS register data base for the Top Sides.
• Check inventories of Spill Kits. 
• Environmental support and advice to warehouse with regards to chemicals located in Chemical Storage Area. Labelling of the latter.
• Ensure to send water samples on a monthly basis to 3rd party laboratory
