Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (“CIDC”) is embarking on a major project in the produc-tion of fast moving consumer goods and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.

The Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC. In addition to the specific criteria stated, all candidates for the post must also have proven management skills, planning skills, excellent communication skills and high motivation. 

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

The duties will include (but not limited to):

• Participating in the mechanical technical design works, contact and coordinating with      machines, suppliers, consultancy, local design company and being the local intermediary in between all parties for mechanical works
• Being present during contracting and negotiating process, to be able to follow up and coor-dinate from CIDC site in the process of mechanical installations, installation of the machines
• Responsible for organizing all requirements for lifting and handling techniques and if needed to organize the required permits
• Supervision of all the mechanical works, during the project
• Quality of the works
• Planning and expediting the mechanical works of local contractors
• Coordinating all aspect with other technical disciplines and other departments
• Able to take on the future position of supervisor/department head of Mechanical mainten-ance department of the plant

Requirements

• Educational Background: University Degree (Mechanical Engineering, special in Machine building and Mechanical drive techniques )
• Minimum practical experience – 5 years in Heavy Industrial Production plant or similar
• Fluent knowledge of Azeri, English and Russian
• Computer skills – MS Office
