Business Development Director/Client Service Director

International marketing research company TNS Azerbaijan is inviting applications for the full-time position of Business Development Director. TNS has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2005 and is a part of global network of TNS operating in more than 70 countries across the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing new business & client service capacities for a full service research company;
• Identifying and developing marketing & sales channels to reach potential clients; 
• Developing all necessary administrative resources within the company’s business development/client service department, including staffing plans, marketing & sales plans, marketing & sales budgets;
• Marketing & promoting the company’s research products to potential clients;
• Managing the relationships with existing client accounts, representing and safeguarding their best interests within the company;
• Cross-selling of  the company’s other research projects with already existing clients; 
• Managing & processing ad hoc leads in a systematic & organized way;
• Developing periodic reporting to support the effective & transparent management of the marketing & sales process;
• Implementing client service standards to develop long-term relationships & commitment with clients;
• Handling presentations and marketing & sales materials in an organized way;
• Developing alternative marketing programs (e.g. online, off-line, direct marketing) to promote the company’s research products; 
• Preparing customized presentations & proposals for potential clients and their specific requirements; 
• Conducting permanent training for department staff to support constant alignment with requirements of the company’s international headquarters;
• Representing the company at various local associations & chambers, conferences & seminars. 


Qualifications & Requirements:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences;
• At least 3 year of experience on a senior management position, preferably in  the field of marketing and marketing research;
• Sound understanding of the importance of marketing and benefits of marketing research;
• Sound understanding marketing research process itself;
• Sound understanding the business environment & dynamics of major industries in Azerbaijan;
• Good professional network; 
• Proficiency in  Russian &English;
• Superior leadership, managerial, analytical, writing & communication skills;
• Strong organizational & time management skills;
• Ability to work independently to solve problems;
• Ability to plan strategically to achieve long term goals;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Ability to travel within Azerbaijan.
