Position: Procurement and Tendering Specialist (Crescent Development Project)

Job Type: Full-time

Required work experience: from 3 to 5 years

Job Location: Azerbaijan/Baku

Education: Bachelor

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the construction team to support and full fill all requirement for daily site operations;
• Preparation purchase orders according to raised purchase orders;
• Tracking payment for Local procurement and liaise with CFO and account department for payment tracking;
• Keeping clear and transparent books for all purchased elements for ease of track for all related managers;
• Involvement of WBS/Work Packages preparation with commercial and project management team;
• Preparation of detailed package scope of works with responsible discipline manager and gap analysis to avoid scope gaps;
• Direct involvement in Procurement/Tender Schedule preparation and updates with the assistance of planning manager;
• Package interface management with close coordination with construction managers;
• Consultation with Design team to ensure design document status and the suitability of each tender;
• Risk management which allows the specific risk of the related package to the contractor, considering contract forms and conditions with the involvement of contract manager;
• Conduct market search and initial market analysis; preparation of the database for all suppliers and service providers with all details in transparency;
• Preparation of detailed cost estimates and forecast for future packages and coordinate with cost manager/qs for budget tracking.

Requirements

• BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration;
• Experience in Tender processes;
• Procurement Contracting skills;
• Good verbal and written communication and negotiation skills;
• Ability to work in multicultural environment;
• Ability to manage multiple assignments;
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
