Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC is seeking a Training & Staff Development Officer Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC (AzerCredit) helps develop the economy of Azerbaijan by providing credit to small entrepreneurs so that they can grow their businesses and improve their economic situation. AzerCredit is one of the largest micro-credit organizations in Azerbaijan. As an employer, the company is investing in its human resources through contemporary trainings and providing excellent working atmosphere and building staff capacity in order to plant the seeds of more successful future. Moreover, staff members usually become the main taskforce, which brings innovation, as frequent focus groups with staff are conducted to brainstorm and gather their thoughts and ideas. AzerCredit is currently seeking a Training and Staff Development Officer for its Head Office.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Understanding and supporting AzerCredit philosophy and objectives; • Doing all within his/her ability to meet targets set by supervisor and work unceasingly to enable AzerCredit to meet its goal; • Conducting all activities in compliance with AzerCredit policies and procedures; • Identifying training and development needs within AC staff through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with branch/regional managers; • Designing and developing training and development programs based on both the AC's and the individuals’ needs; • Considering the costs of planned programs and keeping within budgets as assessing the return on investment of any training or development program is becoming increasingly important; • Working in a team to produce programs that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in AC, such as branch managers, regional managers and senior managers at board level; • Devising individual learning plans; • Producing training materials for in-house courses; • Coordinating the delivery of training and development programs and, in a more senior role, devising a training strategy for AC; • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers; • Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met; • Evaluating training and development programs; • Amending and revising programs as necessary, in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment; • Helping branch/regional managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups; • Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses; • Conducting orientation sessions and arranging on-the-job training for new hires; • Evaluating instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement; • Conducting or arranging ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members; • Developing and organizing training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials for staff; • Making proposals on training budgets for departments and overall organization;
Candidates should meet the following requirements & qualifications: • University degree in economics/management/business administration (MBA degree is preferred); • At least 1 year relevant experience (preferably in micro-credit or other financial institutions) in related fields; • Good communication skills in English and Azeri, both verbal and written; • Proficiency in Microsoft applications; • Must be a good team player; • Hard working style; • Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team; • Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude; • Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization ideals and core values • Good knowledge in economic, financial and credit topics; • Excellent organizational skills; • Very good communication and marketing skills; • Good negotiation skills and highly determined to accomplish tasks; • Willingness and ability to work efficiently in a team environment; • Highly developed sense of responsibility and correctness;
