Monitoring Engineer (Front Office Engineer)

Job Responsibilities:

Monitoring Engineer will be responsible for all monitoring related duties, such as:

1. Surveillance and monitoring of the network 24 hours per day;
2. Monitor, analyze and clear all faults reported by these systems; if an physical intervention to the fault equipment is needed, the monitoring engineer should call out the field technicians;
3. Handle the trouble ticket(TT) system;
4. Provide Technical Helpdesk service which is the central focal point responsible to receive all technical complaint and act as the centralized interface with the Customer’s internal departments and/or the Field Maintenance Engineers of the project.
5. Telecom DWDM equipment monitoring and maintenance;
6. Problem follow-up, system information collection Customer care;

Job Qualifications:

1. University in Electronics and Communication is a must;
2. At least 1 year of Telecom or relative vocation experience;
3. Team work and good communication skills;
4. Co-operational character and the ability of working individually are the must
5. Understand needs and expectations of telecommunication firm clients;
6. Be willing to challenge on shifts and overtime hard work;
7. Ability to communicate with and gain confidence of engineers, managers, admin staff and clients;
8. Ability to adapt to and work within the firm’s culture;
9. Highly organized and ability to work independently;
10. Able to identify problems and fix them, know how to report on the issues and be responsible on it. Know how to use Word and Excel tools.
11. Good spoken and written English
